When I took in my little girl she was hard to control and I was lost on how best to teacher her basic commands. I knew I needed help. Sit Means Sit taught my girl to listen and confidence. They taught me how to talk and build trust between us. Our group classes keeps my Annabelle confident and interested in continuing to learn new things. I’m so thankful to have found Sit Means Sit.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. They go above and beyond in all aspects of training and explaining to the owners/parents as to what was done at any particular lesson. I’ve never been great at writing reviews, but I had to give these people the best I could do. When / if I need to revisit I most certainly will not hesitate to go back to Sit Means Sit.

My puppy was out of control and two much for me to handle. After 3 days of school he listens. The education they have given me and my dog is absolutely worth the money. Thanks you so much!

Mark and Angel are amazing trainers. They were very patient and calm while working with both me and my dog. They spent time explaining what they were teaching my dog and how I could properly use the tools to obtain the same results. Would highly recommend their services.

Great trainers and overall experience. My older, large dog had a lot of bad habits and some aggressive tendencies. They worked with her and us to help her work them out and gave us great support with the group classes after. Highly recommend!

Amazing things will happen when you bring your dog to Sit Means Sit! Three weeks ago I had a dog who was out of control. Jumping, biting, barking. In just three visits to the facility and working with him at home my dog has completely transformed into a well mannered boy. Thank you Sit Means Sit!

We never imagined we would have a dog. Two years of talking and some what planning and Hunter came into our home. We rescued him in March 2021 he was 6 months. Within a few days, we were in a whole new world, our lives changed and we wondered if we made a good decision. We researched training. From local pet stores, no way, to personal trainers and I stumbled upon Sit Means Sit. I researched them and it felt like exactly what we needed. When we had our consult with Mark the experience was like sitting down with your neighbor and getting to know you, while learning more than we knew or expected. We began with one on one classes with Mark coming to our home. It was rough for us more than it was for Hunter. Looking back, he did great, it was us (me) that lacked the confidence and trust in ourselves. Looking back, we persevered and improved ourselves. We never expected more than just simple training, we were just looking to have a Good Dog. Sit Means Sit is WAY MORE than just training. They express compassion and care for every dog and human alike. The variety of dogs in the group class go to show any and all dogs can be trained, if the human is willing to learn too. Here we are a year later. Hunter is 1 1/2 years old and the most impressive and amazing part of all that Sit Means Sit has done for us, Hunter is a certified member of Go Team Therapy Dogs. We absolutely never in a million years would have thought we would have a therapy dog. We are only beginning this new journey but we are so excited to begin a new chapter with Hunter and experience the gift of giving and being able to watch others receive the gift of love and compassion only a pet can give. Thank you Mark and Allie, we can’t say enough to express how much this has meant to us.

Life changer! We have a very large, stubborn country bumpkin bloodhound in the city. Did I say stubborn? Mark has worked with Abby and I so that she (and myself) learn so much, and have fun and never give up. She grows every week and is given the chance to shine. Each dog is given the opportunity to work at the pace they develop as well as function in a group setting. Mark understands where the dogs are at individually as well as the realistic potential of our four legged best friends.

Mark and Alicia went above and beyond to ensure we have the proper tools and training to help our baby beagle on her path to adulthood. Without Sit means Sit, We would not have had the knowledge, skills, or abilities to teach our precious, but amazingly stubborn puppy, how to make good choices and behave in a way that creates a safe and harmonious environment for all. Thank you Mark and Alicia for always being by our side during this journey!
